Accreditation for All
All of our activities gain accreditation for the young people. From Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to Certificates of Dedication. We believe that having a special need should not stop anyone from gaining awards and accreditation. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme is a Nationally recognised Award that is highly regarded.
By attending our clubs young people enjoy new experiences, discover new talents and meet and work with lots of new people. They make a difference to other peoples lives and gain new skills and confidence as well as having fun.
Different groups have enjoyed residentials away to Northumberland and Moor House, Camping in Weardale, Trips to Durham Oriental Museum, Alnwick Castle and Hartlepool Marina. They have done voluntary work for Strayaid, Durham Wildlife Trust, Cheveley Park Elderly Home and Local Hospices. At the Monthly clubs young people have taken part in singing, dancing, computer skills, art and craft, cookery, competitions and team games.
