In the Full Governors Body Committee June 2018 it was agreed for the school uniform to be compulsory in September 2018.
It includes:
Nursery to Year 11 our school uniform consists of:
- navy blue polo shirt (with or without the school logo),
- navy blue jumper/cardigan (with or without the school logo),
- black or dark-grey trousers/jogging pants/leggings, skirts or shorts; with an option of wearing a blue checked summer dress when the weather allows.
- Footwear must be black shoes or black trainers.
Post 16 (Yr 12-14) our school dress code consists of:
- white polo shirt (with or without the school logo),
- black jumper/fleece/cardigan (with or without the school logo),
- black or dark-grey trousers/jogging pants, skirts or shorts; with an option of wearing a blue checked summer dress when the weather allows.
- Footwear must be black shoes or black trainers.
Advice on other optional items of wear/accessories
Jewellery: for health and safety purposes the school will permit only one set of stud earrings – lower ear lobe (no loops and no other piercings), wrist watch, one wrist band either supporting a charity, sensory or medical need. A necklace is permitted only those that support a pupil’s previously known sensory needs. Persistent offenders will have jewellery confiscated which can then be collected by their parent/carer from the school office.
Make-up: pupils will not be permitted to wear make-up during the school day.

Hair styles:
Colouring is only allowed if it appears natural
No patterns or tramlines should be shaved into the hair or eyebrows
Hair should not be shaved below a grade 1
No undercuts
PE KIT:
For physical education pupils require dark gym shoes, socks, T-shirt, shorts.
For swimming/hydrotherapy lessons pupils require a swimming costume, towel and swimming cap if their hair is long.
