Bamburgh Class is part of the Key Stage 4 department.
Pupils in this class are aged Year 11 and have a range of special educational needs including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.
The class is supported by an Enhanced Teaching Assistant.
Pupils access specialist subject teaching and the class teaching assistant moves lessons with the pupils.

Super Learning Thinking Skills Day
Bamburgh class using their Thinking Skills to solve an ‘Escape Room’ activity.
In Prince’s Trust Bamburgh Class completed an Enterprise project. The group decided to create and sell sweetie bags and fruit kebabs. The group went to local shops to buy the things needed and then worked as a team to make up the bags and kebabs. They raised £41 in total and this will be donated to Young Minds Charity.
