Bamburgh Class are part of the Key Stage 3 department.
Pupils in this Semi-Formal class are from year 7 and 8, having a range of special educational needs including severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders.
The class are part of our Semi-Formal Pathway and are mainly taught by their form teacher but access some subject specialisms including P.E. and Design Technology.
The class is supported by an Enhanced Teaching Assistant and a Teaching Assistant.

World Book Day
Bamburgh class took part in a whole school world book day competition. We decided as class to create a display which was based around the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Thinking and Problem Solving
Bamburgh Class take part in functional maths lessons which can be shown through working with money or working as a team to complete a task.
Bamburgh class take part of a range of life skill activities in school one of them being our weekly cooking lessons. We practise cooking with different foods, turn taking and working as a team.
Every Thursday Bamburgh Class visit different locations this includes visits to shops, cafes, farms, museums and parks.
During our weekly art lessons, we have created a range of art using different methods and materials.
