Bamburgh Class are part of the Key Stage 3 department.
Pupils in this Semi-Formal class are from year 7 and 8, having a range of special educational needs including severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders.
The class are part of our Semi-Formal Pathway and are mainly taught by their form teacher but access some subject specialisms including P.E. and Design Technology.
The class is supported by an Enhanced Teaching Assistant and a Teaching Assistant.

Bamburgh class using their Thinking Skills to solve an ‘Escape Room’ activity.
In Prince’s Trust Bamburgh Class completed an Enterprise project. The group decided to create and sell sweetie bags and fruit kebabs. The group went to local shops to buy the things needed and then worked as a team to make up the bags and kebabs. They raised £41 in total and this will be donated to Young Minds Charity.
