Pupils from Durham Trinity were invited to go to Durham Castle to take part in a Christmas afternoon organised by the Castle Community Action Group (a student-led outreach program run out of Durham Castle). Activities all took place in the magnificent Great Hall and included Christmas card making, decorating biscuits, making a Christmas box and using beads to make jewellery and keyrings. A brass band played and a pianist, and it was very festive along with all the Christmas decorations and huge Christmas tree. Everyone enjoyed the Christmas buffet and pulled crackers. A raffle was held and the winning ticket won a pass to visit Gibside. This was won by Megan Watchman. The students did a brilliant job organising and arranging everything and it was a wonderful event for everyone involved. All of our pupils loved it and were so well behaved.
