David Mortemore and Friends are doing the Coast 2 Coast Cycle ride on 22 July. They will be setting out from Workington at 6.00am and finishing at Blackhall Rocks (117 mile) on the evening. Mark, Joe and David have cycled 500 miles to raise money for a minibus for The Bridge School in Ipswich. Refreshments made by Mrs Convery and the Hospitality Team.

Over the last five weeks a charity called ‘Jessie’s Fund’ has been working with groups of children across the Primary and Sensory Departments. Jessie’s Fund helps children with additional and complex needs to communicate by using music.
The Children in Greta and Wear class have thoroughly enjoyed participating in five music therapy workshops. It has been interesting watching their responses to the various musical instruments and listening to the melodic tones representing ‘water’.
Greta class have thoroughly enjoyed baking cakes to sell at our school coffee morning on Friday. The money raised will be donated to Comic Relief. Don’t they look delicious?
In FEU staff and students have been making VIP Cakes for students to take home to give to parents and carers. These are to say THANK YOU for supporting us in our fundraising efforts from all of us in FEU.
